The Hunger Games, Catching Fire were amazing!

Catching Fire was better than I ever could have imagined! If you hadn’t or had read the book, it was great for both fans. This film sure beats the first of the trilogy. Director Francis Lawrence did a great job at turning this great book into a movie. Although there were plenty of things missing from the book, many of the things excluded made the ending to movie a whole lot more surprising to those who had not read the book.

I hadn’t read the book(s) due to the fact that I never had the money to buy them, so I started reading The Hunger Games (the first book of the trilogy) online but didn’t even get less than halfway through because reading online is always a bad idea. I somewhat forgot all about them up until I went to go see Catching Fire, and that was all I needed. The movie was absolutely amazing. It’s about 2 hours and 26 minutes long but since there’s always something going on, the next thing you know, the movie is over!

The ending to Catching Fire is a jaw dropper! *No spoilers* Many people complain about it, but that is exactly how the book ends. It gets you even more excited and anxious for Mockingjay (the last book of the trilogy) which will be divided into two parts. Mockingjay Part 1 will come out November 21, 2014, and Mockingjay Part 2 will come out November 20, 2015.

I recommend everyone to read the books. Both movies (The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games Catching Fire) do not give the books justice. Reading the books also help you better understand many of the things that happen that you don’t understand in the movie because in the books you are seeing everything in Katniss’s point of view.

I am now completely obsessed with the trilogy, and I hope everyone enjoys both movies and books just as much as I did.
