First Baby Brother

After being an only child for 15 years, I was told that I was going to have a baby brother November 19th (and he came like 2 weeks early). You could only imagine all the shock.  I was told sometime in the middle of August that my mother was roughly about 4 months pregnant; that’s a day I’ll never forget.

During  the 5 months I was aware of the situation, they were filled with complaints by mother (you can’t really blame her).  All these thoughts were all whirling around in my head. I had no idea what to expect. How was I suppose to talk to him? I was really worried about our age difference but, after some reassurance from everyone I don’t worry about it too much.

Now that he’s actually here, I think I’m pretty prepared for whatever’s going to happen. Aaron, however, has had to stay in the hospital (nothing too serious) because he has too many red blood cells, so they have to keep him under a UV light.

My mom and dad make sure to take plenty of pictures of him so I can see him even though I haven’t really SEEN  him.  I just can’t wait to get sick of him.
