Journalism students earn awards from clip contest

Journalism students received several awards from the Texas Association of Journalism Educator’s annual clip contest, called Best in Texas Contest.

Students competed in online and print newspaper categories. Awards are Superior, Excellent, and Honorable Mention.

Earlier this year, junior Olga Ozornia received 2nd place in the Advanced Animal category of the Association of Texas Photography Instructors annual Fall Photo Contest.

They are taught by Mark Webber, journalism/online media instructor.
