I watched Stranger Things during the summer and it was great. Honestly, if you want to finish a show in just a day, this is the show. It’s a show full of strange things (pun intended) that occur in a small fictional town called Hawking, Indiana.

Another strange occurrence is that a small, young boy, Will Byers, goes missing and the appearance of a young psychokinetic girl, also known as Eleven.

As the young four friends of Will start to wonder where he could have gone or where he would be, they find a young girl who is a little bit crazy. That girl being Eleven, El for short. The boys who find El are Mike Wheleer, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson.

As I said before, I watched this show during the summer and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Watching this made me love sci-fi and horror a lot more.”

This web television series was created by the Duffer Brothers for Netflix. They directed as well and it was executive produced by Shawn Levy, who also produced Real Steal, The Internship, and all three Night at the Museum. This show also stars award-winning Winona Ryder. She plays Joyce Byers, the mother of Will and Jonathan Byers.

As I said before, I watched this show during the summer and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Watching this made me love sci-fi and horror a lot more. This show truly makes me happy and I seriously love the characters – I know I say that a lot, but this one truly does. Stranger Things goes into the depths of science fiction and horror and I think that is fantastic.

Season one is literally the best thing ever. It is truly a binge-worthy show. Season one revolved around Will Byers being taken by an evil monster. It all starts with the kids (Byers, Wheeler, Sinclair, and Henderson) playing Dungeons & Dragons and it does foreshadow a lot of things. This episode truly was a rollercoaster – to be quite honest, every episode is a rollercoaster. I love everything about the episodes, or chapters. Each episode is named “Chapter One…” and then the title of that episode/chapter. I think that’s genius, honestly.

“Stranger Things” takes place the 80’s and it’s the coolest thing. I, personally, love the 1980’s. With this show, you are on the edge of your seat. It’s not a thriller, but you don’t know what will happen next and that’s great. Mostly movies do that for me, never shows, but with this show, it’s different. A very good different, at that. Personally, I love to be on the edge of my seat and this show does that.

The cast is mostly children and their acting is fantastic. I love the cast, especially Winona Ryder and Millie Bobby Brown. They’re my favorites. The cast is amazing and I truly do love this show and its dynamic. I can’t wait for season two. I know for a fact that it is going to be fantastic.

For me, it is 5 out 5 stars. I totally recommend it and you should watch season one and two (when it comes out) on Netflix!
