The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a very emotional yet entertaining movie that gives viewers exactly what they want to see, relating much of the movie to the comics of Marvel where Spider-Man was created.

This is also Spider-Man’s greatest battle, and you will see that in the movie.”

Producers incorporate many things from the comics that included humor and more of the way Spider-Man really acts when faced with problems.

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is back in the city of New York and he tries to maintain peace as Spider-Man. He faces many obstacles as the mysterious company Oscorp sends several super-villains against him, impacting his life throughout the movie.

Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) is the girlfriend of Peter and so in the beginning of the movie she is startled that Peter won’t make it for their school graduation due to a crime happening in the city where a man hijacked a truck. Spider-Man comes to the rescue and saves the containers within the truck.

He then goes to meet up with Gwen Stacy at their graduation and explains why he was late to the ceremony. She understands that he is Spider-Man and that he has responsibilities for the city, but she knows that graduation should be more important.

During the crime Spider-Man bumps into an innocent bystander who is carrying blueprints and works for Oscorp. Spider-Man tells him he will need help from him and that he will be his ears and eyes around the city. His name is Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) and he presents himself to Spider-Man during that moment that they collide.

Max later on goes back to Oscorp and tells everyone about how he admires Spider-Man and that he wants to be just like him.

Max is then assigned to fix some cables that are malfunctioning in the maintenance room of Oscorp. Apart from that day being his birthday, he decides to be the only one who stays so he can fix the cables. Max goes to the room and starts to fix the cables, but as soon as he plugs them in, an accident occurs and he falls inside an eels’ tank which electrocutes him and he is shocked to death.

At the morgue his body lies on a table, and then all of a sudden he wakes up and his skin peels off and he appears to glow brightly in a blue color. This is the emergence of Electro.

Peter Parker must hen confront him at Time Square in front of many people because Electro thinks Spider-Man betrayed him and is stealing his spotlight of being famous in New York City. Electro believes he is far more powerful than Spider-Man due to his electrical powers and how he can shut down anything electrical. This does give Spider-Man a hard time and he must learn how to defeat Electro.

In other news, the company of Oscorp is hiding many secrets, and Harry Osborn’s father dies from his condition he had and now Harry must take care of the company on his own.

Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) believes he also received his dad’s condition due to the genes and he knows it’s just a matter of time before he becomes a green goblin. Harry is also an old friend of Peter, so he goes to him and asks him if he can get Spider-Man to give blood to him because he says that will cure him from his condition. He doesn’t know that Peter is Spider-Man so he just asks him if he can find him and tell him that Harry needs his blood.

Peter Parker starts to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp. He knows that the company is behind each and every villain going up against him. Peter as Spider-Man wants to know more and also wants to know more about his dad who left him alone with his aunt and only left him with a briefcase full of strange papers.

This is when situations begin to escalate and Spider-Man must do everything in his power to protect Gwen, his friends, his family, and the citizens of New York.

Harry Osborn then goes up against Spider-Man as green goblin and he is teamed up with electro to try to kill Spider-Man, and that is when the real action begins.

Spider-Man also faces another villain called Rhino (Paul Giamatti) that puts on a rhino-like suit and starts to create chaos in the city while police search for a way to stop him.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was great and will leave you with a lot of thoughts, but you will really enjoy the movie and be happy that now in this Spider-Man movie producers are relating it to the comic books.

This is also Spider-Man’s greatest battle, and you will see that in the movie.

The movie is now playing in most theaters including Cinemark Mall del Norte. Hope you enjoy the movie, and if you have already seen it then leave your comments on what you thought of it on the Magnet Tribune website.
